no audio from stereo receiver

Many times when I turn on my genie, TV and stereo receiver with the remote something doesn't turn on or everything does and I have no audio.  This used to work pretty good and now it might take 3 times sometimes. Everything turns off and on so 2 are on but not the third. Sometimes audio on good  but not when switching to streaming. I have tried contact cleaner ,new HDMI cable and new stereo computer and the remote is paired to tv

I think I need a new genie receiver
