No external speaker sound on NBC
This is a weird audio problem. We just transferred to Direct TV Stream. We were able to change the audio settings to default to home theater speakers vs Sony TV speakers….but all NBC (news, Bay Area sports affiliates etc) channels continue to play through the tinny TV speakers…..no idea why this would occur -the setting parameters are “all or nothing” -no way to select per channel or app -anyone??

On what device did you change the audio settings? What did you change them from and to?
What streaming device are you using?
How is it connected to your TV or AV Receiver?

Hi
we worked with a tech for 45 minutes, twice….basically stepping through the DTV options under “settings” and “audio”, landing on the “surround” option. This forced the audio to the ceiling mounted speakers on all channels but the NBC affiliates. The streaming box connects to the Sony TV via standard HDMI port
When we called back a second time the tech said there was some kind of outage with NBC. This seems…..dubious
