On Samsung TV, can I change the source app (Samsung TV) to Direct TV Streaming
Every time I turn my TV on, O have to go to the Direct TV app and click into to watch. When I turn off the tv, and re-start, it goes back to Samsung TV channels

I think you will have to go to the app and restart it every time you turn your TV on. It is not like a channel from your TV tuner. The only one that will come directly on is the DirecTV Stream box. All others are apps and have to be selected to start.
