Pause Ad
When I pause my Direct TV Stream after a few seconds it changes to a silent AD for something. Right now, it is for Game of Thrones. I have to hit a button for it to go back to the paused show and then I push play. How do I stop the AD for popping up after a few seconds?

What you are seeing is a screen saver. If you have a DirecTV Stream box you can shut it off, in the settings.

I have tried but have been able to find the setting to turn it off. I'll try again. Do you know where to find it?

You can only shut it off if you have a DirecTV Stream box. Don't think that feature is available with the apps.

I have the box and the Ad comes on weather I have the screen saver on or off. I was hoping for a work around because I believe it is a Direct TV override.

Changing the "power saving" setting (dig through menu options) to "off" will change the delay on the screen saver from about 30 seconds to about 5 minutes (instead of turning it off entirely, as it should). If you want to turn off the screen saver entirely, you have to disconnect from the internet using your main receiver. I know that that's not a great solution because you may need the internet for some features that you use.
I have reported the incorrect functionality of the "power saver" setting to DirecTV.
