just installed Directv App onto my new Samsung TV. Do not have the Directv remote and only use the TV remote. How do I pause a live program to step out of the room for a few minutes?

To pause live TV using your Samsung TV remote, press the Select / Center OK button on your remote to bring up the on-screen player controls. Then, navigate to the Pause icon on the screen and press Select again. If your Samsung remote has physical Play/Pause buttons, you can also press those directly to pause the stream.
