Premium Channels
Was just wondering if anybody know why you only get 4 HBOs or 3 Cinemax on Directv Stream when you get twice as many on other streaming services including regular Directv. Dont seem worth the price

My guess would be because they have "On Demand" for those channels.

U also get access to HBO max. Everything is on there including original programing regular HBO doesn't have.

Having lots of linear channels for the premium networks basically dates back to before there was on-demand - they offered a number of channels offerings different shows because you had no way to watch a specific show when you wanted. Now, with the ability to pick what you want when you want, there is really a limited utility to any linear channels, but the set they offer for HBO (as an example) seems good - the main channel (for anything live plus maybe releases as they happen, though those seem to appear on HBO Max at the same time), HBO Family (for a "safe" channel for kids), and HBO Latino (Spanish version of the main channel).
