Problem with local ABC station
I am only getting a "national feed for my ABC channel, everything was fine until 2 days ago and now I no longer get my local news or programing for ABC. Now during those times I only get an ABC Stream news feed! All other local channels are working fine! Called DirecTv customer service and that was NO HELP!

No error code, and yes KRDO channel 13 is my local ABC station! The guide even shows the correct information but yet the feed is something different during my local programming (like news broadcast and network shows, instead it’s constant national ABC News stream!), and let me remind you that it there was no problem for last 2 months until last Thursday (3 days ago). And all I get is typical scripted answers and no real help to resolve the issue!

80831 -El Paso County, Let me remind you that all the other local channels are working just fine. Yet for ABC KRDO channel 13 all I get during my local schedule programs is an ABC news feed.

So after going round and round with DIRECTV customer service and then trying to blame my devices this is their final response…….
We understand your point, and that's why we want you to enjoy the programming you used to watch. But since the content is handle from ABC broadcaster my best recommendation is to contacted them. REALLY!! What kind of customer service is that I have a technical issue with DIRECTV and nobody cares I pay you DIRECTV for my service and win the problems hard you give me that response. WOW!!!!!!!!!!
Guess I’ll be switching back to another live TV provider like Hulu or YouTube…..

No DTVS paying customer should have to contact a local affiliate. It is the responsibility of the service being paid for to provide what they advertise.

Oh I’m not sitting around doing nothing, that’s DIRECTV customer service. Because ABC is working just fine on Hulu!

UPDATE…. For any one else with a similar problem. PROBLEM FIXED BY THESE STEPS AND A COMPETENT DIRECTV AGENT on the phone.
1-Log out of DIRECTV Stream app on all devices
2-Delete app on all devices
3-Reboot modem
4-Restart all devices
5-Reinstall DIRECTV stream app & log in
6-DIRECTV Agent “re-sent” signal with my program options.
7-Problem Fixed!
