Problems recording baseball games
I have the record series set for all Mariners baseball games. The problem is that sometimes it just won't record the game. I checked the night before in future recordings and everything looks fine, it is set to record. The next evening when it should be recording, I look at the recorded programs (list) and it shows that is is recording and in fact has recorded one hour and twenty seven minutes. I click to watch it and there is actually no program there. It says it is recording and it in fact is not. I can go directly to that channel and watch it live but it won't record. This has happened at least twice in the last month. Normally it works as designed. This is regarding the Mariners channel #687.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @Ed1701. Did you encounter any specific error message or code when you tried to click the affected Mariner game recording in the Library? John, DIRECTV Community Team

I try to take good notes and I don't see any notes about that nor do I recall any error messages. I will watch for error codes in the future.

This is another problem that I have been having: The Mariners game is set to rcord using series record feature. It looks like it is recording. After I have one or two hours recorded, I select the game to watch from the List and find no recording but a message on the screen "The owner of this content hasn't made it available in this area". The game is available to watch live on the Mariners channel #687, it just won't record it for some reason. This has happened maybe four times this baseball season. I believe they have always been home games and not the special games that are available only on Peacock, DSN, Prime, etc. This is quite frustrating since you think it has been recorded, and should have been, then you find that dang message - for no apparent reason. The game is in Seattle, I am in Spokane - about 300 miles away.
