Progress bar on sporting events

On the directv app, if pause, fast forward or reverse is pressed the progress bar is displayed. If you are watching a recorded sporting event this may provide spoiler information, telling the user how much time is left in the recording. It's also potentially a spoiler displaying the total time of the recording in the user's library. I wish there was a way to optionally hide this informatiin for recorded sporting events.
