Recently started network congestion with Direct TV Stream
Hi
My configuration includes FIOS 1 Gb, AppleTV 4K to a Sony TV. All of the network connections are hard wired to the router. Within the past two weeks the network congestion error message has started to appear at least once each evening. This never happened before, never. We are located in MA. and trying to watch a local station. Anyone have any suggestions ?

Does the issue happen on other channels during that time? Have you tried reinstalling the DIRECTV STREAM app on your Apple TV as well as restarting the Apple TV? Does this issue occur on mobile devices or otherwise other streaming devices?

Hi:
Restarting everything does not fix the problem. Will try re-installing the Direct TV app. I don't use Direct TV Stream on my mobile devices.
I tried installing the Direct TV app directly onto the Sony TV and the picture quality was terrible.

Got it. Does this issue happen on all channels or only some/one? If only some/one, name it.
For the purpose of ruling out the streaming device or your WiFi connection I suggest you try streaming from a different device ( using the DIRECTV STREAM app).
