When you setup a series to record it will give u the option for "new" or "all" Do a search for your show and hit "view all episodes" then record series and choose new.

I haven't been able to do this lately. I'll try again. I must be missing something. I just haven't found that one spot that I can choose all or only new. Thanks for responding.

When you choose to "record series" that's why you get to choose. A popup comes up on the screen after you hit record series and u can choose new or all.

All you can do is Cancel the recording and then set it all over again making sure to select New Only this time.
The mistake I made was to use the record button tapped twice to record series. Then you don't get a choice and it's set to All Shoes automatically.

So, what is the proper way? Evidently not from the guide. I have tried so many times I forgot which way works. I've put some shows as a bookmark so I can find them. This is frustrating.

If you have a stream box you can do it from the guide. Go to the show and hit the info button....then more info......then view all episodes. Option to cancel series or record series will be there. Then you can choose new or all. Or---just find the show and his view all episodes----cancel series then record series and there will be a popup to record all or new

You’re terrific. I couldn’t remember the part about “more info”. Thanks so much.
I’m used to cable and it was more straight forward. Yay!!
