Recording

How do I record only new tv series weekly programs? When I press record, it records old shows that are on other networks.

Hi @nebagaman1, thanks for contacting us.

You can set your DVR to record any movie or show in the guide, as long as the channel is included in your subscription package. With the remote control, when you find a title you want to record, press the R button to schedule it.

You can also manage those recordings following these steps:

1. Press MENU on your remote.
2. Go to Recordings and select View Playlist.
3. Select Manage Recordings.

- Upcoming Recordings manages scheduled recordings.
- Series Manager prioritizes your recordings to avoid conflicts.
- Recording History tracks all recordings on the DVR.
- Purchase History tracks all purchases on the DVR.
- Typical Recording Preferences sets preferences (First Run, Repeats) for one-touch recording.
- Playlist Share Settings shares or hides recordings from other DVRs in your home.

Please let us know how it goes.

@DIRECTVhelp  you gave the customer directions on how to use Dtv satellite. This is the stream forum.

@nebagaman1 Go to the show you are trying to record (by searching, in your guide or dvr list)---hit "view all episodes"---cancel series recording----then set it up again. Record series then select "new"
