Regional Channels
I live in Pennsylvania, about an hour and change from Philadelphia. However, based on my map location, I get Balmitore, Maryland and Washington DC regional channels. This is because if you draw a straight line on a map down to Baltimore, it's about 5 miles closer than Philly, despite me living in that state and it being a shorter drive. Comcast has always given this area Philadelphia channels. I checked and YouTube TV also gives my address Philadelphia channels. Why must I watch out of state channels just because the map proximity is closer by 4 miles? I feel like the method is flawed and I should be allowed to watch Pennsylvania sports and news.

Check the ZIP code on your account (billing zip code included) also go to the channel lineup and see which channels you should get on the guide https://www.directv.com/stream/channel-lineup/ if there's a mismatch between the channel lineup and what you see then something is off. If it matches, then it's the way is set up at the DMA level. A good example of this is weather-related scenarios where some customers complained about getting locals from far away from their home location where weather wasn't even close to what they were experiencing. I remember DIRECTV sending some communication about the ZIP-DMA realignment (due to regulations) at the beginning of the year (which caused some local channels to disappear from the lineup of some customers).
