Series recordings have stopped working
Up until yesterday all my series recordings were working. Now if I go to view upcoming recordings it is blank no series recordings are set. I have no recorded programs in my library it is empty. An hour plus call with tech support was worthless. Any idea what Directtv has broken

Is this happening across the board on all your devices. I just noticed there's a recent post on Reddit similar to yours. The first thing to check here is if it happens on all your devices to see if it's something related to your account in specific or to the device. All is working fine on the playlist and upcoming list, so I don't think this is extensive. The next thing would be for the DIRECTV customer service representatives here to check your account in specific.

This happened to me a few months ago. Luckily I had all my series recordings on bookmarks---so I went to each show----cancelled the series recording and then set them to record again. Then my upcoming list repopulated.

I only have the one box which they supplied when I started service. Hopefully tech support will actually look and do something, guy I was on last night for over an hour was worthless.

This happened to me yesterday also. Only 2 days of recordings in the Upcoming section and only 1 recording per day from Monday on. I have about 50-60 series recordings so I called tech support. Good thing I didn't post last night because I was soooo mad I was spitting nails and would have said some very ugly things. First of all I spoke with someone in Asia and there was an awful language barrier. Then he tried to tell me that it was a software glitch or something. Couldn't understand him. He said I would just have to go make new Series Recordings. I told him I recorder EVERYTHING and that it would be almost impossible to recreate my Series and individual recordings. Then he told me the Series were there and would record but I just couldn't see them. He said just "trust" that they'll record. I was getting hot by this time and asked for his supervisor. He refused and said there wasn't anyone more qualified than him.
Then, he said he needed to restart something and could charge me $20, which later would be refunded. On and on and on. Like I said. Good thing I didn't post last night because I'm a 24-yr customer of DTV Satellite and also have had DTV Stream all year (have both) and normally have only great things to say about DTV.

Just checked (9:37 AM here in California) and the Upcoming Recordings appear to be in order. I'm going to keep checking because now I don't trust that they won't disappear again. I did check my account and I have no idea what the guy did. My account is all screwed up.

When this happened to me a few months ago----it wasn't an "everyone" glitch. I posted in reddit about it and only a couple of people saw the same glitch.
Like I said before....Just delete your series recordings and re-add them. That will fix it. No need to deal with tech support. Same exact thing happened to me and that's the fix.

I have too many recordings to recreate them. And this morning all the upcoming recordings, so far, are there. It's a good thing I didn't try to do new series recordings on top of what was already there (but was invisible) . God knows what I'd have this morning.

I had like 40 series recordings that I re-did. If you have them bookmarked it's easy. I just gave you the fix. But spend the rest of the week griping about it. Have fun. I'm done with this thread.

The bookmarking sounds like an excellent idea because there is no list of series recordings on stream like there is on satellite. And should the software periodically lose its mind and not produce an upcoming recording list it would be great to have all the series listed under the bookmark section . I have so many series to recreate it's gonna be a job. And some of the series are not on at this time.

Gtyz All good now but I was concerned yesterday because two things happened. I lowered my package to entertainment from choice and there was a software update, which I really like but was not sure what caused the disappearing recordings issue . Anyway so far so good

I did try deleting and then readding series recording but in my case it still does not show up on upcoming.. Until Directtv fixes it will just have to keep an eye on it. When I signed up it was still ATT if I had known they were going to switch it to Directtv would probably have gotten something else. I have never had anything but trouble with them when I had their satellite service and their tech support has always been worthless.

Well today things have started working again, I am now seeing upcoming recordings include a bunch of recordings for 2 shows which I have never watched, cleared those out.
