Service Address
Why can’t DirecTV change the service address? I moved from California to Florida and they still have California as the service address. The DirecTV time show pacific time when it should be eastern time. I still get Long Beach, CA commercials. Is it really that hard? Would it be better fir me to cancel my service and sign up again? When I called DirecTV Streaming, I was told be one of their reps just to leave it. He said it didn’t matter. I said of course it does. What if the new owners of the house wants to put in DirecTV Streaming? Will it be in my name?

Have you changed your credit card billing address? And updated address on acct?

You can change your address and billing zip code under account settings on the stream. directv.com website (under profile and billing)

I’ve changed the billing address to Florida. That worked. Apparently, the service address is different all together and no one can change it or know how to change it. I don’t want to watch advertisements from Long Beach, CA.

Make sure your settings are up to date. If you are using a DirecTV Stream box, go to Settings/Location Settings/Set New Home Location.
If you have a Roku or Fire Stick go to Preferences/Home Settings/Set New Home Location.
I had to do this when I moved back to Florida.
