Smart Resume on DVR

I am a DIRECTV evangelist with experience with both satellite and presently with over internet.

During a transitional period trying out Xfinity, one feature I absolutely LOVED was the smart resume feature on DVR. What is smart resume? Dying fast forwarding on DVR, the tracker would stop just before the show resumes.

Suggesting to implement to improve DVR.
