Some channels work and others do not
I have a Roku tv and stream my Directv app on it. Most days there's no issue, but lately, some channels don't seem to be working, while all the others are still working. When I change the channel to a particular station, it just keeps "processing" and then times out. While I have no issue going directly to other channels. I have tried to clear the cache for my Roku tv. I've restarted my tv. I have logged out of the app and logged back into the app. I still have the same issue. I have another Roku tv that I don't seem to have this issue with. It's only one tv that seems to be the problem. Anyone else experience this?

There was a FB post about a week ago related to this. The fix was to restart the Roku. Have you tried that @Bigdtown23

@GTyz Yes, I have restarted the ROKU by going to the system and doing a system restart. I have not wiped it clean to start it completely over. But, I did remove the app, then went back and added the app in and it seems to be doing ok for now. However, the other TV that i previously did not have issues with, is now doing the same thing. lol. ugh.

@bcbsncjlj one is running on wi-fi and in our master bedroom where the modem is on the other side of the wall in the living room. the tv in our living room is wired in with the ethernet straight from the modem. the living room tv is less than a year old, and the other tv is a little more than 2 years old.. now, i don't have issues streaming anything else (netflix, hulu, hbo, paramount, etc.). it's only with Directv that some of the channels just "process" while others work fine. not sure why it does this. we're almost at a point where we're gonna have to swtich to another streaming service.

@bcbsncjlj i get that the comparison is not apples to apples.. i've had other streaming services before (youtube, hulu, sling, etc).. i just got too lazy to type everything out. lol. also, i just wanted it to be known that my wi-fi is fine. I have the AT&T highest internet speeds they offer (gigillionaire).. The modem is located in my living room, which shares a wall with my bedroom. the older tv in my room is on wi-fi and the living room TV is plugged directly into the modem. both TVs are now having that issue. mind you, it's not all the time. maybe the next day the channel(s) that didn't work, now work. but then a day later, it goes back to not working again. I have gone through clearing the cache, restarting the tv (not resetting where it deletes everything). i've deleted the Directv app and reinstalled it. I've logged out of it and logged back in. most of the time it seems to work, but then goes back to not working again on certain channels. while i'm at work, i can stream Directv on my computer and i don't have these issues with the channels while streaming on my computer.

@Bigdtown23 this was a specific Roku issue, and based on several posts on different places (FB and here), it has affected TCLs (and some other Roku TVs). plus the Rokus 3800X. Hopefully, the latest release works. I have a friend who downloaded it, and he's doing fine now (he has a TCL).
