Sound Skipping
I recently signed up for Direct TV streaming app and when I watch any channel the sound sounds as if it is “skipping” or “lagging”. None of my other apps do this.

Is there a sound bar that would work correctly. Only way I can get it not to skip is to turn the sound bar off

We appreciate you for isolating the issue. Any soundbar performs its function best with hardware that supports Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound.
Unlike most pre-recorded streaming apps, DIRECTV broadcasts a heavy, live audio feed. You can try changing your streaming device's audio settings to PCM or Stereo. You should also switch your soundbar's audio enhancement settings to Standard or Direct mode. John, DIRECTV Community Team
