Streaming device message

I get a "there's another device streaming on your account right now. You'll need to stop that stream to start this one".

a.) I have never seen this message before and I'm using the service exactly the way I always have.

b.) there doesn't seem to be a way to see what devices are streaming.

c.) I have one device running so I think this is an error on your part.

Now magically its working now. I made sure all my other devices were off. It may have been a timing thing but I wasn't aware that there were any device limitations.

Generally, DIRECTV stream has a limit of 3 devices streaming that do not appear to be at your home location, and a limit of 20 devices streaming that do appear to be at your home location.  Your home location is determined by the IP address from which your traffic arrives at the server, which is determined by your ISP.

There will be a brief period following any streaming when it thinks the stream is still active and counts it against your limit.  You may have run into this.
