Streaming on Fox Network

I have three TVs in my home and one that my son uses at college. Today, one of my TVs here at my house was not able to view the football game on Fox. The error basically that there were too many streamers. Why would I be restricted if I can have up to 20 simultaneous streams?

You do have 20 streams but certain networks such as fox only allow 2 to 3 simultaneous streams so you can stream on up to 2-3 devices at the same time.

Check that your home network has not been changed. Changing the home network is not protected and your son (or his friends) could have changed it to his college. I have asked about making that under parental controls.

Thank you! I was not aware that networks limited simultaneous streams. I had not encountered this problem before yesterday. I will also check with my son to be sure he is still connected to the home network. I'm not sure how that works but I assume he will need to somehow manually input my IP address since he is away and using a different provider that I am.

If the home network was changed, he cannot change it back. You have to see it and change it back if necessary at home under preferences. The problem is that it can be only be changed four times in a 12 month period.
