switched to streaming from sat ... not happy

Just switched to DTV streaming from DTV satellite. Using Amazon Fire Stick (new model just released). Netflix, Amazon Prime works great but fast forward, rewind is very choppy on regular TV.

Single TV is the only load on network.

How much would a Gemini Air help?

Can I trust the ones on eBay?

Thanks,

Thanks for reaching out, @seauubee. If you haven't yet, please try the following tips to see if they help:

- Update OS:
Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About > Check for System Updates.

- Clear Cache: Go to Settings > Applications > Manage Installed Applications > DIRECTV > Clear Cache.

- Reinstall App: Uninstall and then reinstall the DIRECTV app.

For the ultimate TV experience, consider getting a Gemini Air directly from DIRECTV: DIRECTV Gemini Air | Live TV, Streaming Apps & 4K Entertainment in One Place Risks exist when buying from third parties. Some devices may still be linked to a previous owner's account, which can cause activation problems. Rhyan, DIRECTV Community Team

My camper fire stick works great with starlink at 400 mbps. That being said, highly recommend the Gemini Air if you, like me, had dtv satellite and value the ability to input channel numbers, one-click access the guide/record/info etc.

You can get a Gemini box (Osprey) from Walmart for 45 dollars. It's a small box (4 x 4 inches) and has an ethernet port. Same interface as the Air and works as well.
