Talk to change channels very delayed
When I press the microphone button on the remote to changed channel it is very delayed. When I first got the service it worked perfect don't know if it's something I've done or if there's another issue.

What hardware do you have? DirecTV satellite or DirecTV Stream? The DirecTV satellite remotes don't have a microphone button.

First thing to try is resetting your DirecTV Stream box.

Thanks for informing me about the difference in the forms I didn't notice that.
I did reset the box according to the instructions on DirecTV's website no change. Change the batteries I also went into the settings and reprogrammed
the remote no change there either.

I have done all of the steps to repair the device to the remote but there's still a delay between 10 to 15 seconds before it changes the channel. Maybe I'm being unrealistic but I'm sure that it was quicker than that when we first got it only had it for a short time maybe 2 months.

Was there ever a resolution to this problem as I have the same problem on both my Streaming Devices

It started happening with the last software update on their Stream box. A new software update is rolling out now so i'm assuming that glitch will be fixed.

In the settings--system---general---system summary scroll down to Directv Stream version. Tell me which version you have and I can tell if you if it's' the newer one. Old one is 29.2.116.36 which is what I have.

New ones are 29.2.117.49 and 29.2.117.31.
