Three suggestions
1) The ability to customize the channels in the grid. Then you can have each type of programming listed together, I.e., sports, news.
2) Each dvr recording last nine months. Why not have the dvr automatically record a newer showing and cancel the other.
3) Add the other Weigel channels, METV Plus, Movies!, Catchy Comedy, etc.

We appreciate all of your suggestions, @DR0719.
1. Future enhancements will offer more customization. Stay tuned!
2. Once the maximum episode limit is met, the oldest recorded episode will be automatically deleted first (within 9 months or less) to make room for the next recorded episode.
3. DIRECTV is constantly evaluating the channels it carries and values customer feedback. For future updates on new channels, visit https://spr.ly/61211hCRQ1

Thank you for your response. I was actually referring to movies that you record with a nine month shelf life. It would be nice if the dvr would automatically record a newer showing and delete the older one.
thanks again

I agree with you especially on #2. Right now I "manually" do this every day. There are certain programs I like to keep on stock so to speak. For example Twilight Zone. Every day I review the next 2 weeks "upcoming" episodes then hit the RECORD button manually for the updated episodes. Then after it records and I have two of the same episodes, I manually DELETE the oldest and the 9 months start over. I do this for about 8 programs. Lots of work but it's the only way right now to "extend" (if you will) the 9 months. I'd like to be able to pay a little extra, maybe $5 x month, for a defined amount of Permanent Storage.
