Trouble Loading Content

All my other apps work fine but when I open the DTVS and go to a channel I get a blank screen with “looks like we are having trouble Loading content, please try again later.”  This only occurs in my Firestick application, not in Apple TV. 

Yes, rebooting the Firestick seems to solve the problem, but that is unnecessarily inconvenient!  Based on comments in this Forum, the issue is not new. When will DTV get this fixed?

I have 3 Fire Stick 4K's connected to a Samsung TV, a Sony TV and an LG TV, download speeds of about 80 and upload of about 20. This didn't happen for the first year+ that I had DirectTV streaming (when it was AT&T TV) and my speeds were even lower before I got a new router.  This problem just started about 6 months ago out of the blue.  I'll repeat my message from 5 months ago:  For the amount of money Direct TV charges for streaming, I should be able to turn my TV on and watch, not waste time trying to get the app to work.  Because it's still happening.  Usually when I'm in a hurry to catch the start of a show.

And all my fire sticks work just fine with every other app.  Just a problem with DirectTV.

I have 3 of the 4K Fire Sticks, and they perform outstanding. I rarely have any performance issues. Currently, on vacation for a week in a hotel using one of the devices. Working exceptionally with speeds of 8 up and 5 down.

I’m recently getting this same error multiple times/day. I have Firestick 4K Max v2 with an LG TV. After displaying this message the system doesn’t recover and continues to display the message indefinitely. I can recover the system by selecting the channel guide and then reselecting the current channel. This should be an easy fix within the app to simply take recovery action after encountering the condition that caused the message to be demonstrated.

I have had this issue for almost a week now. I am streaming on my kindle fire tablet and on my iPhone 14. It started intermittently on tablet, on just a few channels. I could close and restart the app and it would work fine. Since ESPN Unlimited came out I have not been able to watch any ESPN content and for the past 3 days I have been unable to watch any channels at all. The problem seems to be limited to ESPN on my phone, but nothing will load on my tablet.  I have tried all of the Troubleshooting options to no avail except those related to routers because I don't have a router. My internet connection is fine. All of my other streaming apps work fine. I only have a problem with DirecTV. I can't even find a way to contact customer support. The closest I got was a message to post on X.  I don't have an X account or any other social media for that matter. Whatever happened to good old fashioned email or phone calls? I love DirecTv Stream when it works, but I can't justify paying 70/month for just sports when I can't watch anything. Even content in My Recordings will not playback..
