updated browser interface buggy

Watching DTV Stream in a browser has never been ideal, but a recent update has made things even worse. Until last week, if I watched a recording before it was completed, I could easily jump to the end (live tv) by dragging the slider past the current time, and it would jump back to live tv without any issues. Doing that now causes the app to stall with a spinning icon and no picture, even if I drag it back to earlier times. There seems to be no option other than restarting the recording and being very careful to not go past the live tv point. I have tried Google Chrome and MS Edge. Does anyone else have this problem?

When I first tried Stream, I was relatively impressed and thought the bugs would get fixed. Now I am not so sure. The Stream box is much better, but it still does not come close to matching the interface of DTV satellite.
