Visio Smart TV - Issues with Direct TV Streaming

Just recently switched from AT&T Uverse to Direct TV Streaming. After the initial setup of Direct Tv Streaming on Visio Smart TV the programs were working fine. After watching and then shutting TV off and later turning TV back on, the screen goes Blank or streams for one second in and out. It appears I have to unplug the power cord from the will and leave it out for a while before being able to turn the tv back on and watch. This is ridiculous.
