Why does my log in work only on the mobile app, but not the Direct TV Stream app?
It used to work for the Watch At&t app, but that was discontinued as of today(11/30)

Your post is a whirlwind of confusion.
Do you subscribe to DIRECTV Satellite service? If so, then there's a DIRECTV mobile app for you. Your DIRECTV login should work with this.
Do you subscribe to DIRECTV stream (a different service)? If so, then you need the DIRECTV stream app. This will accept your DIRECTV stream login, but won't accept a DIRECTV satellite login, because that's not who it's for. If you want to use this app, then you need to purchase the DIRECTV stream service for a monthly fee; whether or not you have DIRECTV satellite is immaterial to this.
AT&T shut down their WatchTV service effective today. But that has and had nothing whatsoever to do with DIRECTV or DIRECTV stream.
