Watch the beginning of a live recording while it is still recording.
I tried ATTV streaming service last year. The recordings were the worst part. If I set a sports event to record I would have to wait until it finished recording before I could watch the beginning. If I clicked it while it was still recording the end it would tune in live in real time and wouldnt let me rewind to the beginning. This was hard because I wanted to record extra time in case the game went to overtime.
Is that still the case now that it is DirecTVStream?
This was the main reason I switched to another other streaming platform.

You should be able to view the recording, soon as the recording appears in the playlist. Generally, within 30 seconds of the program starting to record.

By "view the recording" do you mean watch the beginning, pause, rewind etc? With ATTV I could "view the recording", but only live as it was being recorded without being able to rewind which sort of defeated the purpose of recording it as it spoiled the ending. It was almost like the old days of VCR recordings...

Yes, you can view a show while it is recording. Just go to the "list" (recordings list) and play it. U can ff, rewind, pause.
