"We couldn't play this content at this time. Please restart the app and sign in again."

This problem is back -- at least for me.  Older thread has been closed.

I'm now receiving the following message when i try to watch anything: "We couldn't play this content at this time. Please restart the app and sign in again."

Windows 11.  Both Chrome and Edge.  Relaunched both.  Rebooted computer.  None has worked.  But things work OK on my older Windows 10 PC.

Ideas?

VPN has caused trouble sometimes in the past for me.  So it is now part of my standard checklist. I should have mentioned that I initially had my VPN connected, but then turned it off when I was troubleshooting. Thanks for the suggestion, though.

Solved - kind of.  I deleted *all* cookies/cache, and we are back in business (!).  This always frustrates me because there is no smoking gun pointing at what was bad, nor how it happened.  We need an app for that!
