Why no PiP?

I know this has been asked before but it's worth asking again. Why doesn't DirecTV Stream offer picture in picture and/or multi-view? Every other service has it and they are losing customers because they fail to offer it.

It should also be made available on Android so that TV stays running in a floating window while I do other things on my phone.

I've been with DirecTV for almost twenty years and I think DTVS is the best streaming service but even I am tempted to go to YouTube TV because of these missing features.

Thanks for your loyalty and feedback, @Bhfromme. While the Picture-in-Picture feature has been a long-standing request, it remains a top priority for us. We've recently launched several Mix Channels (up to 4 live channels at once) to give you more flexibility in watching and discovering content. I'm sorry but a) the "Mix" channels are a sorry attempt at giving us multi-view like YouTube TV offers their subscribers, and b) if YouTube TV, Hulu and even Fubo offer the floating window feature which allows a viewer to keep the stream going in a small window while doing other things on their phones, I just don't understand why DirecTV Stream doesn't offer it.
