Wrong Local Channel

I can never get my states local channel. It always , it being any streaming device, gives me the next state over local channel. Why would I want to watch theirs? Doesn't make sense. Is there a way to change this? I even checked direct TV local listing for my zip code and they listed my state they didn't list the state over from me. That's why I signed up.. so frustrating

What device? Do you receive the correct stations on your mobile device? Local channels are derived from a combination of a customer billing zip code and IP address. Essentially the IP address a customer is assigned must match their billing zip code to receive the local channels available in that area. Your ISP determines the IP address that is assigned to your location.

Go here and enter your zip code and see if your local channels are the ones assigned to your zip code:

His original post stated he checked and they listed his state not the ones he receiving.
