Greeting @staudj,

Thank you for reaching out to AT&T Community and Forums! I understand you have questions regarding when u-verse will be implementing the viewing of recorded content on the app. I have been watching out for any updates on whether it will be something added in the future.

At this time it is not available but it is not to say it is not in the works for future additions to the U-verse app. Until then, you can still watch live and on demand shows and movies.   Here is an Article to show other ways to enjoy your U-verse app called The U-verse App – You Do Not Have to Miss a Thing!!

Have a wonderful rest of your day!

This response is as vague and ambiguous as anything I've seen published on the topic.  Probably once a month I get hit with a survey asking me if I like the Uverse app, asking what I like and what I'd like to see added.  You can guess at my responses.  This has been years in the making.  Either do it or don't and say so, but please don't insult the intelligence of your customers with this constant teasing.

I concur,  with it already part of Direct TV, it can't be a technology issue.   I can only assume it is part of the plan to lure customers off U-Verse and over to Direct TV, similar to U-Verse never offering 4K technology .
