Poor DirecTV Customer Service

DirecTV is NOT customer service friendly!!! I have been an ATT customer for MANY, many years. When an affiliate (DirecTV) does not perform to your standard, it's a reflection on ATT. I want DirecTV to call me. I don't want customer service, I want management. I also want to know how to file a grievance against DirecTV. Their customer service is awful and the only way to get my problem resolved is to discuss with management and to file a grievance. I am being mistreated and wronged in my billing. I can be reached through the phone number on my account. And PLEASE STOP using call center personnel that have such an accent that a customer has to repeat constantly, “I did not understand what you said”. That works against the CUSTOMER. Always remember: I am the customer, NOT DirecTV! FYI: I am retaining a copy of this request. When I don't hear from DirecTv or ATT, I will have evidence I submitted this on 06/05/2020 at 2100 hours CST. Thank you. Very Respectfully .

This is a customer to customer forum no one will call you and they don't read these posts. DTV customer service is inbound only so you call them they will not call you. BBB may be able to help with a grievance.

DirecTV and AT&T are no longer simply affiliates. AT&T owns DirecTV. Since the acquisition within the last few years, customer support has taken a hit as AT&T agents had a huge learning curve to understand DirecTV products and services. It has improved back a little, but not where it really should be at this point (in my opinion).

They are an equal opportunity employer so will not deny employment simply because of accent. What is difficult for some to understand is easier for others. With the huge land mass our country is, there are a lot of different accents. Try New England vs the "Deep South" and it can feel like a language barrier sometimes.

This is no evidence of a request. This is a public forum of other customers, not DirecTV customer support. For official support you call, even talk to a supervisor or request the address to write to the "Office of the President" for a higher up response. Either way you contact them, not the other way around. In the case of writing in, they might assign a specific rep to give you a call if they feel it warrants it, not simply because you demand it.

Alternatively, you could discuss the situation with your account or equipment and other users could give guidance based on their knowledge and experience. Though we don't have access to your account, sometimes we might have the info you need or point you in the right direction depending on the situation.
