Bye-bye Spike TV (channel 145/1145)
Sometime very soon, Spike TV on channel 145 and HD 1145 will be turning into The Paramount Network.
This is across ALL PROVIDERS and AT&T has NO CONTROL over this change.
Switching to another provider will NOT make a difference.
The Paramount Network should be on the same package/channel as Spike TV, but no one will know until the change happens.

This is happening Jan. 18 (9pm ET) but thanks for the reminder.
Spike will become Paramount Jan. 18
I'm sure some will show up in a panic. We'll have to just keep bumping this to the top.

I wasn't sure of the exact time, hence the "very soon" wording. Sometimes these things happen at midnight and other times, not. I believe Discovery Kids changed at 10am on 10/10/10. (Why I know that is anyone's guess...)
But yeah, someone will come in and freak out. Remember when this kind of stuff used to be stickied??

Now the channel shows up as 145 PARMNT So the change over is complete. This is the 2nd name change since it started as The Nashville Network in the 1980s.

Thanks for the video.
I DVR'd Lip Sync Battle Michael Jackson Special LLCoolJ announced their "new home at Paramount Network" and apparently they brought the $$$$ with them because they sparred no expense. They were at the Dolby Theater instead of their original small studio. It was all MJ songs (which have to be paid for) and the theatrics were crazy. It looks like it's going to be big all season.
