Disney+ is a streaming only service. Nothing to do with what is on U-Verse or DirecTV.

I think you mean Discovery+ which is a streaming service.  If TLC is part of your package, it will remain as such.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

It's possible that content from TLC will be on Discovery+. This could be shows "on demand" that aired on TLC and/or exclusive shows.

I suspect (but could be wrong) that the TLC app could be going away and replaced by Discovery+.

If you have a device like a Roku, AppleTV, game console or a FireStick, you don't need a new TV...assuming that the companies that make those devices sign deals to carry Discovery+.

there are alot of shows, not just TLC..The new streaming service will host over 55,000 episodes of Discovery Channel, Food Network, TLC, HGTV, ID, OWN, and Animal Planet shows, as well as exclusive originals from some of the brand's most influential stars,,,,,,I have a smart TV..will ck it out, not going to pay for anything extra..
