Favorite List Synchronization across DVR and client boxes

I really feel like I must be missing this on my new Uverse installation.

I have whole home DVR and 2x client boxes on other TVs.

I edited a "Favorites" list on on of the client boxes and it is not reflected to the other units.

This seems absolutely rediculous that the "Favorites" list it local to only one tv. I would even be happy if there was a way to do from website and push to all boxes...am I missing something?

@jmbraben - You have to do each box seperately - No propagation.

Wow...that is awful. My Dish receivers had that many years ago. Uverse really thinks that is correct behavior? What about parental controls and channel blocking? That also has to be manually entered at each receiver? So what is best avenue to get something changed?

Not sure about parental controls but hiding channels must be done on each box too.

Don't mess with old people.  The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

So...what is best avenue to get things changed in the Uverse firmware? I've managed to get a couple things into the Dish firmware over the years...takes a while, but I'm a patient guy.

Did you ever stop to think that some of us LIKE having receiver specific Favorites or channel blocking?

Hubby might want HGTV blocked on the TV in the den and Wifey wants NFL network blocked in her craft room and the kiddies want their Disney/Nick channels as Favorites in THEIR room.

I don't want it changed.  Actually, it would upset me greatly.

YOU have gotten things changed on the Dish firmware?  I'm impressed.

So in your home nobody watches a different TV?

It upsets me greatly that there is not the capcity to have common behavior across my sets without a lot of maintenance.

There are many ways your use case and mine could be satisfied (Dish gave you the option of synchronizing or not.). UVERSE currently allows 5x favorites lists...Do you need more to satisfy your use case if they were synconized? More could be added, lists could be enabled per settop. They could allow pushing lists from the website to the boxes and backing up settings/timers...I'm on my third DVR in a week and reconfiguring everything has not been pleasant.

I'm stating my expectations are not met, and there are better ways of handling this problem

Yep, also have gotten TSB's initiated for my 2013 Ford and gotten TWC to fix regional back end service problems and others...I've failed at some things also...it's a hobby. You need to know how to leverage the masses to apply pressure...get lots of customers asking for the solution is a standard path.

I'd be OK if it was an OPTION to have Favorites and/or Hidden Channels pushed to ALL STBs.  Just not a requirement.

MY TV in the office (which he never watches) has NFL Network and ESPN and other sports channels hidden.  I have NO use for those!   There are no kiddos around here anymore but I can see how they'd want their channels on their TV but NOT sports and home improvement channels.
