Hallmark Channel
AFAIK, Hallmark Channel hasn't been up for negotiations since it was re-added several years ago.
This is certainly an interesting observation.

Umm...That "observation" sounds ominous.
I'm afraid to ask.

It was just a random thought/memory I had.
I'm not sure when their contract is up. They left on September 1, 2010. They came back on July 22, 2015.
By my math, the contract should expire in:
2027 if two-year deals.
2030 if three-year deals.
2031 if four-year deals.
Of course the merger with DirecTV may have altered these timelines for all I know.

Gotcha. So just musing, not you have heard ripples that are oh so subtly implying.
So nice when they keep those talks internal and don't pull the scare tactics when they force it on us when they don't get everything they want.

Indeed. I was musing/reminiscing.
And yeah, channels are up for renewal almost every month. The vast majority are solved without issue. The biggest problems seem to be sports (because not everyone watches) and especially when there's a new feature or channel like what we saw with the new ESPN Unlimited stuff and...the other issue seems to be when a company has a ton of channels. They typically demand popular channels like BET and MTV go on main tiers with additional channels like BET Jazz and MTV Classic on higher tiers.
I am surprised that Reelz is on the lowest tier on DirecTV's streaming providers, but on U-300 on U-Verse.
The other interesting one is SportsNet Pittsburgh. I live in its area, but don't get it. I did, but it was pulled when U-Verse didn't move into Pittsburgh. Despite the ownership changes with the channel and U-Verse, I still don't receive the channel.
With that said, it appears very likely (as in upwards of 99%) that the FanDuel regional sports networks are going away at the end of the NHL and NBA seasons. The affected teams will either start their own channels controlled by their leagues or move to channels that already exist.
If you don't live in a FanDuel area or don't watch sports, there's zero to worry about.
Part of the reason those channels failed was because they were doing decent when they were with Fox. Ratings (except for live games) weren't the best, but they piggybacked off the popularity of other Fox channels.
When Disney and Fox merged, the channels were sold to Sinclair who overpaid. The streaming providers like YouTube TV and Hulu never had them because they didn't want to pay Sinclair's price for channels that only had decent ratings maybe 3-4 hours per day when a team was playing live.
