I learned today that, starting at midnight tonight, Uverse will no longer carry WISH-TV, channel, a local channel.

I have been trying for several hours to find out how to express my displeasure with the elimination of WISH-TV Channel 8 from my available U-verse channels. I have been unsuccessful. It's bad enough that they are discontinuing it, but it makes it evern worse when I can't give feedback and request that they reconsider. It's no wonder so many people are cutting the cable. I may be next.

Believe it or not, ATT is hoping you'll cut the cable and switch to their new streaming service called ATT TV. Starting in February no one will be allowed to sign up for Uverse. You'll be able to keep Uverse as long as ATT supports it but they may start eliminating channels to speed up the transition to ATT TV.

Hard to believe that! I just signed up for one year of internet+Uverse on 1/30/2020.

Like I said you'll be able to keep Uverse, just no one will be allowed to sign up for Uverse once the ATT TV national rollout starts this month. In the 15 states where the new ATT TV service is being tested, new Uverse sign-ups have already been stopped. ATTs new direction is ATT TV and HBO Max coming later this year.

I thought the rollout was community by community and once the new service rolled out, that was it for new signups to U-Verse.
