Logging into apps with ATT credentials
I can’t log into any app using my ATT uverse credentials, I’ve tried ESPN, tbs, tnt, Starz I get not authorized or error playing video. Doesn’t work on phone iPad smart tv or Apple TV called ATT customer service and they couldn’t help

7/24/23 - We were aware that some customers were having login difficulties over the last few days. This has now been resolved. Please see below for troubleshooting steps if you are still unable to login.
We understand the importance of being able to log into other apps using your AT&T Uverse credentials, @Jasonforfsu. We are here to assist.
Are you able to sign in to your AT&T account using the same credentials you are trying to use to access those apps?
We recommend resetting your password first, by following these steps:
After the password has been reset, please make sure you are able to access your online account using the new password, and then try to access any of those apps you mentioned.
Let's us know if those steps help. If you are still unable to access the apps, we can meet in a Direct Message and run some troubleshooting steps to get this resolved.

I have STARZ and Showtime as part of my UVerse subscription. I cannot log into either app on my smart TV or my iPad/phone. I am able to log into the UVerse app. I get an error message that says 1) (if I choose AT&T from their menu of providers) "Sorry, your TV provider is not supported. The new STARZ app is not currently available through your TV provider." or 2) (if I choose AT&T U-verse from the menu of providers) "No STARZ subscription found. You do not have STARZ through your TV provider. Please contact them to add STARZ to your package."
I have uninstalled all of the apps (STARZ, Showtime, and Uverse app) and reinstalled them. Is this an issue with STARZ wanting to use adobe to log in (it never was before). How can this be fixed?

My AT&T Uverse subscription is not authenticating with live TV applications such as CNN and Turner Classic Movies. It had been workingas recently as last week (7/8/23). Has anyone else experienced this or related problems?

I have U-verse 300 which includes STARZ. I have been able to stream STARZ on my smart tv and phone. Now I get a error saying “your TV provider is not supported”. I have followed all the instructions from a previous post and need my account synced.

Up until a few days ago I was able to login properly to this site on both my android phone & while using a windows o.s. web browser so I could watch the msnbc 'live' stream : https://www.msnbc.com/ . Now all of a sudden when I click the AT&T U-verse button in the list of providers nothing happens, previously after I clicked on the U-verse button I was taken to my at&t account credentials screen and after I saw that my account information was displaying properly I would check the 'remember me' box and be automatically logged in saw I could view the msnbc live stream. I'm wondering since U-verse is actually no longer a part of the at&t group of companies (as I understand it's now part of direct tv) users like myself no longer have access to the live stream like we used to. Does anyone know anything about this, it sounds like the parent company of msnbc is really getting greedy with who can watch certain shows on their system.

I have always been able to login to various channel apps such as CBS, Bally, Fox Sports, etc. with my AT&T/Uverse account. Today when I try to access Fox Sports "Program" is not included in your TV package. Please make a new selection.

Have you been able to access those apps previously, or is this the first time you are attempting to access them? Also, have you made any recent changes to your plan?

I have the Uverse 450 that includes Starz. Haven't had any problems in the pasgt. Today it doesn't work. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app, changed my AT&T account password, and still nothing.

I’ve been using the apps for years using my same log in credentials, just started messing up yesterday so I guess there’s a problem with how ATT authenticate our log in, tried changing my password and deleting all the apps and re downloaded them, still getting same error

All year, I have been able to watch CNN, MTV and other channels in my subscription online. However, for the last two days, I have received an error when trying to connect. My username and password is correct. I have cleared the cache but still getting errors that there is a problem with the authorization. Has there been a change to Uverse agreements and allowed members access to watch online.

Same problem here. Everything has been fine, today I have multiple channels that have stopped working (MSNBC, Starz, FoodNetwork). Across multiple devices (phones, tables, apple tvs, computers) so it's definitely something on the back end of things

I spent over an hour on chat yesterday with support covering all of the things that AT&T support reps have mentioned in this thread. I'm here to tell you, don't waste your time. This is clearly a backend auth problem that they have to fix and none of the steps that support is suggesting to try will resolve this issue. Just my .02
