Parental control error on everything in the app
I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I can't watch anything on the app. I keep getting an error about parental controls and the master account. I am the primary account holder and account admin on the myAtt app. Thats the log in info I'm using. There are no parental controls in place on my TV account. I checked. Help!

As dilandrew pointed out, the app expects you to use your att.net email address when you log in. To view your Member ID att.net email address:
_ sign in on your AT&T account at www.att.com
_ click on your name in the top menu area
_ click View Profile
_ click Account Users and your att.net email address should be listed
Your password on the app is the same password you use to log in on your AT&T account at www.att.com (even though you may use a different Access ID as your username when you log in on www.att.com).

I had the same issue. To resolve, use your att.net address as your login

THANK YOU!! We have been trying to figure this out and called ATT and they couldn't figure it out, told us they would call back and we never heard from them again! Thanks to Ivenzcherry for asking the question and to dlilandrew for posting an answer!!! It totally fixed the problem!

I've experienced the same problem. The app works perfectly on all of my wife's Apple devices and none of my Android devices. Clearly there's some problem with the app interfacing with the Android operating system.

I have the same problem. The app works perfectly on all of my wife's Apple devices but won't run on any of my Android devices. When I try to run it I get a message that parental controls are set to not allow live channel watching. Clearly there's a conflict with the Android operating system.

The link to send a PM is dated 12/2017. A few months ago ATTCares stopped accepting PMs.

It didn’t work for me.
I even uninstalled & re-installed the app (on my Samsung 10.5 Tab & Amazon Fire 8).
Same restriction message.

I finally got my U-verse app to work with my Amazon fire tablet. I was using the same password that I used for the fire sticks and my iPhone. The tablet would not play. I kept getting parental control messages, and I had already disabled all of the parental control restrictions. No one in technical for Att or Amazon could help. I then read the help feeds for Att which said I had to log in with the full email address and not just the shorter username I was using on the other devices. I logged out and then logged back in with the full email address and now everything works perfectly. I was about to buy an expensive iPad, thinking the problem was the operating system on my $50 fire tablet. I am glad I continued to look for solutions.
