Yes, I have to keep going back to the daytime station an re-recording the channel I'm interested in. The channel no longer appears in the in the saved programing and the programs are reruns.
@eventgirl10 Here's the thing. A bunch of posts in the forum will say that there was notice in USA Today as well as TV promise. Now, I don't go searching USA Today every month to find out what channels I'm going to lose; I didn't even know about TV promise until AFTER my local channel was removed.
From what I understand though is that neither Nexstar nor AT&T WANTED to notify customers because both sides seemed to think that things were going well and therefore no need to notify about possible channel loss.
Your site shows the issue has been resolved….which is an UNTRUE statement, for the 35 other states that Did NOT come to an agreement. It is not right for you not care about the rest of us.
Adding the 1year free for HBO does not replace my Favorite channel, NBC!!! Plus not informing me of this issue before I signed up for DIRECT TV for 2 years….is Misreputation of the product..

So them giving us free HBO for a year is meant to make up for the lack of intelligence AT&T and NBC has? That’s like telling a little boy that wants the candy at the check out lane at the store, “No Johnny you can’t have that candy. Here have a spoonful of cod
I check twice a day to see if NBC is back on. We watch many shows, and especially the local news on it--well, we used to. We are sad and disgusted at the situation. Carolyn H

The negotiation with CBS is resolved.
Negotiations with Nexstar still continue.
Those are separate specific negotiations.
The negotiations are not per state. Nexstar does not own all channels in those 35 states. Some are owned by other affiliates, and some by their networks directly. So there haven't been untrue statements, you just have misunderstood them.

Twice a day? I can understand the frustration if it has a lot of shows you enjoy, but I would see about finding another channel to watch. Negotiations are not quick so checking so often would just add to the frustration. There are lots of other channels to enjoy.

This may get us weened from NFL on NBC and CBS. Moreover why would advertisers continue paying big bucks for advertising, if their products are seen by a lot fewer House holds. Hey ad men put the squeeze on these net works by holding up fees until this is settled.
Here Here!!! Gee maybe we should notify them all that their commercials are not been seen on NBC when they actually paid for it! NBC would need to reimburse all those advertising companies. I’m game if you are! ##- Please type your reply above this line -## -- Denine [edited for privacy-please do not post personal or unique information such as but not limited to full names, employee ID numbers, email addresses, phone numbers, account numbers, etc.]
