When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?
When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA? It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area. Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA. Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

I.m paying for a service that I'm not getting! I should get a reduction in my bill because I'm paying for local channels and not getting them.

I'm sick of the 'big guys' ruining things for the little people! Come on! Get it together, TEGNA and ATT! We all have had a horrible year...in my area, I am missing the last of Alex Trebek and so many other shows. It may not matter much to you, but it matters a lot to people that are stuck in the house so much. Give each other grace and make the deal.

Demanding a specific date will get you nowhere and don’t expect your demand to have any weight in the corporate negotiations. 🤦
While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

There is nothing unprofessional or disrespectful here. You simply do not like the situation.
This is simple negotiations. As a new agreement wasn't hashed out by the end of the recent one, then Tegna pulled their feed as is their right. The channels will be back once they come to terms on a new deal.
How much will your cable bill be reduced? The answer is none. You pay for access to locals in general, not any specific one guaranteed. The packages are the same cost regardless of how many locals your area gets as it is flat rated instead of itemized to address. Now with that being said, if you log into your account you might have an option for a one-time credit as a courtesy.
You are shown respect like the rest of us. There is nothing disrespectful just because it is taking longer for those 2 sides to agree.

Because there is no forever agreement. Tegna owns the channel, TV provider pays them for the feed. Costs change over the years so there is no such thing as price for life when it comes to TV.
And searching for another provider will not protect you. All TV providers go through this with one channel or another. Unfortunately it is increasingly common for local affiliates to pull the feed in recent years, but that is their right.
If you want price to stay the same and channels almost guaranteed to stay, your best bet is using a regular antenna for the free broadcast. Then the channel only pulls their feed if they shutdown. That is the reality of TV.

So you would rather AT&T just cave to Tegna which means that much more on your bill going forward? Will you pay for the rest of us too that don't want that to happen?
If you want to leave, then do so. Just bear in mind another provider will not save you. All TV provider go through negotiations, and they have each been dealing with a trend of local affiliate owners pulling the feed pushing for higher rates. But your giving them a deadline means nothing. Negotiations will continue regardless of your immature threats and insults.

You had better get this interuption dealt with. I am unable to view WBNS Channel 10. Im am missing many showes and with what I currently paying direct tv its shameful the cost. There is no good reason why you cant settle this so i can have my programming back. Im tierd of these interruptions in my service every two years! You better get it fixed or ill replace you! Your not the only cable provider!
Settle the issue.
I want my channel back!

YouTube tv is half the price for more, why am I going to be paying more I don’t care if ATT goes bankrupt that’s their problem not mine. I’m a customer. Btw you can get CBS free for 1 week, then try to cancel, they’ll automatically give you a month free, while you try YouTube tv to make sure it works for you. That’s my plan. Peace out uverse although I’m still stuck with the 1g internet which is really 300-400mbps. Another fake out by ATT.
