When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?

When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?  It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area.  Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA.  Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

If it is owned by Tenga then they removed their feed until they reach an agreement to renew the contract.

Att and direct tv charge way to much they pull the channels you do watch and keep all the channels you don’t watch and charge all this money when ever I get the chance I’m out!!!! This is not good customer service they don’t care about the customer anymore it’s all greed !!!! Shame on you. This was the worst experience ever I’ve all ways had Comcast moved to texas and in my area we can only have att direct tv I’m ending my services this is horrible for you to treat paying customers like this . Also they never negotiate with long time customers, the bill just keeps going up !!!! Rip off shame on you !!!!

I have been a ACTIVE watcher to KUSA for 51 years! I use them for ALL of my local news because they are more detailed than any other news program in my area! This is TOTAL CRAP!! I will be changing my TV service after 25+ years with DIRECT TV! The money I pay for this service is outrageous when can’t even get a local channel!!

You can access NBC content using the PeacockTV app.

Jeopardy is 'syndicated' meaning it can be on different channels in different markets.  In my market, it's on CBS.

You should be able to pick up your local NBC station using an OTA antenna (exceptions apply) or see if locast is available in your area.  locast is a streaming platform that allows you to watch local stations.

locast is available on Roku.

I keep a set of 'rabbit ears' around for this very reason.  Someone ran over a VRAD (I have Uverse) in our neighborhood which took out my internet/TV/phone.  I wasn't going to do without TV so I could at least have TV with an antenna.

I think if TEGNA and AT&T don't resolve this issue soon we will definitely switch to another carrier!!! Our bill is enormous and this is simply not an acceptable way to run your businesses especially when we are living through a pandemic which requires us to be home!!! This was done at a time that was deliberately chosen by companies who don't care about their customers.  Thank you for ruining our time at home with our families!

I dont understand why the customer is always the one who suffers when you guys have a channel dispute   We went thru this with channel 4 earlier and now with channnel 9  I really think you just want us to change to Comcast or Xfinity since they dont seem to have these problems  FIX IT!!

Without more information, we will assume that your "channel 9" is a station owned by Tegna.

Before you make a decision to change TV providers (ie. Comcast/Infinity/etc.) bear in mind that ALL TV providers have to negotiate with the owners of stations and no provider is immune to a blackout.

The only way to assure no interruptions is to get your local channels with an antenna.

I'm disgusted with AT&T.  From the research I've done - and will do more - this is a pattern of their heavy-handed negotiations with local station owners.  AT&T attempts to beat them down and the consumers suffer.  I'm going to find alternatives to AT&T and urge everyone who is dissatisfied with them do likewise.  There are too many internet alternatives available for us to put up with our 'pawn status' while the bullies fight it out.

When can I see my favorite programs on channel 8 and 9.    I really do miss my favorite channels on CBS and channel 9.  My Sunday Mass is really missed.  I hate not being able to go to church, but now I can't see it on Sunday, too.  This is to much.

Log into your account for a one-time $20 credit.

You have a couple of different options to watch network programming....

1.  See if locast is available in your market.  locast is a streaming service that allows you to watch local channels.  It is available in limited markets

2.  Use the networks app.  In the case of CBS, they offer CBS All Access which is not free.  NBC and ABC offer their apps for free.  Not CBS.

3.  Use an OTA antenna to access local stations and the only cost is the cost of the antenna.

There is no Tegna to comeback.  Tegna OWNS 60+ TV stations.

If you are asking if Tegna (the station owner) has settled with AT&T (your TV provider), the answer is not yet.

U-verse is obviously one the worst negotiators in history...

Lost NFL network, and other stations when they said they were allegedly negotiating, so the trend is we will never see the tegna stations back.  Unverse (Edited per community guidelines).  It’s a big scam with some of the other companies to force us to switch I suppose.

Please resolve the issue with TEGNA as soon as possible.  Long-time U-verse subscriber, but I will leave if I can not get NBC programming.  The cable company would be happy to welcome me back.

I have been a loyal member for years.

I called a week and a half ago about NBC and maybe canceling my account.

I will be canceling my account if NBC is not back on before Sunday.

We recently added Apple TV and will do our TV watching through that if this isn't settled before then.

Agreement came up between AT&T/DirecTV and the local affiliate owner (Tegna).

Tegna chose to remove their feed (as is their right) to leverage customers.

If TV provider caves to local affiliate, then those cost increases result in higher bills.

All TV providers go through negotiations since the don't own the channels.

The trend is local affiliates pulling their feeds more often recently with all providers.

As such, switching providers will not make you immune to this situation.

If you log into your account you might see if you get a one-time credit offer as a courtesy.

I don't think it is a courtesy, but my right to get credit for something I'm paying for and not getting. watching locast that cut out every 10 min is not the answer for mea.

It is not your right. You are not entitled to any channel guaranteed. TV providers each have a clause stating that channels are subject to change at any time. The package only gives you access to locals in general. What locals those are and how many of them is not guaranteed.
