When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?
When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA? It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area. Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA. Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

When will the Uverse management grow a pair and resolve the situation with TEGNA? Why hasn't ATT discounted the charge for broadcast channels? If you cannot correct the problem, then I know how to correct it on my end

If att cannot solve the problems with TEGNA, why has there not been a discount given for the missing broadcast channels. Find a solution or remove the charge for broadcast channels. If you do not solve the problem quickly, then I will solve my problem with att quickly. I have other choices.

The Big 10 Championship game between OSU and Northwestern is blocked on Channel 11 in Tucson due to the TEGNA issues. This is wrong on so many levels.

I’ve waited for weeks now for you to settle your contract dispute with TEGNA. I buy your product in order to get sports programming and for weeks now I have been denied options on local ABC affiliate channel 8. Get the contract resolved!!

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

This is ridiculous! Can't watch the NEWS, been a lifelong watcher of ABC since the 1970's and 80's with Peter Jennings... Can't watch football games. It's also not WFAA's fault at all. Sometimes you can too much money and still be a DUMB***

This is utterly ridiculous! it's not WFAA's fault, they're the best station in my opinion in the DFW. I've been a lifelong ABC News and TV watcher since the 1970's and 80's watching Peter Jennings every night. No sports or football to watch? It's non-sense! Sometimes people with too much money still end up being DUMB***ES

WFAA is owned by Tegna. As they are in negotiations, Tegna choose to remove their feed to hardball a better deal. This is a normal negotiation option to leverage customers against the TV providers.
Instead of throwing around a tantrum and baseless insults, get the facts. Both sides are trying to get the best deal they can. Yes local affiliates in recent years have been pulling their feeds more often. But consider that a better deal for the local affiliate owner (Tegna in this case) is worse for us customers. The more the TV provider pays, the more our bills go up.
If you are within decent signal range, just plug in a antenna to get the free broadcast. Hopefully you didn't get pay TV solely for a single channel as you have many others to enjoy.

CBS is a local affiliate, not a sports channel. And they are owned by Tegna which pulled all their stations away as part of negotiations. Your local CBS affiliate and other associated channels will be back when Tegna allows it. AT&T (DirecTV and U-Verse TV) cannot force them to return it.
So you can thank Tegna for their choice. As a backup consider a regular antenna to get the free broadcast. Sure it is annoying not to watch something you were looking forward to, but I am astounded a people who completely fall apart if they cannot watch a show or game. Watch or do something else as it is not the end of the world.

I want a credit on my ATT/Direct TV billing for all the service I have not been receiving but have paid for. How do I get you to start the ball rolling to credit my account? Going forward, I would like you to credit my bill monthly for the cost of service charged but not delivered.

Supposedly you can request a credit. Baseballisback said you should automatically receive a $20 credit but it’s not on my account. Will be looking into xfinity because I couldn’t watch tv while it rained today!!!
