When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA?
When are you going to resolve the problem with TEGNA? It's disrupting my service in watching WFSS (channel 8 - ABC) in my area. Customers should not have to deal with the petty problems between Uverse and TEGNA. Work it out or lose a long time subscriber.

I have real world problems trying to pay bills. Get my kids to school buy groceries. But losing one channel to sit on my fat (Edited per community guidelines) is not one of them. Get a life go outside. Buy an antenna people feel so entitled these days.

While AT&T employees do look at forum posts from time to time, we are here to represent the forum with our experiences as customers and do not represent AT&T in any official capacity with our responses and do so on our own time unpaid and off the clock. As employees we are not rewarded nor compensated to participate in these forums This forum is comprised of regular customers to communicate with other customers to offer advice and share experiences same as any other user Although there is a small team of customer care specialists that monitor the forums the sheer volume of posts are simply too many posts for these agents to respond to each one of them.

Depends on where you live on how often it is reasonable to go elsewhere and be outside. However, the current situation shouldn't make one locked to their home permanently. And some of us don't have the option to lay around at home. We have things that must be done and job requirements.
But even if you were locked in your house, it still comes down to 1 or 2 channels that are pulled and only temporarily.

I’ve been in quarantine since March and working from home. I lost 2 channels but I have 300 more to chose from.

Getting fed up with not being able to get local NBC programs because you are in dispute with Tegna. I feel this is a breach of our contract and that if you don’t settle the issue(s) with Tegna you need to let me out of my contract so that I can find a provider that has all the channels I pay for available.

Tegna has announced on Twitter that they have reached a new carriage agreement with AT&T. The Tweet specifically says carriage for U-verse and DirecTV - ATT TV isn’t specifically mentioned, but I would have to think a new carriage deal would include ATT TV
Hopefully, those who have been missing their Locals the last few weeks (owned by Tegna) will have them restored shortly

Those that have been effected by the Tegna black out should check again.
My local ABC station that WAS out is back.
Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

Well, after several weeks of this saga ATT finally decided to give us a Christmas present and honor their implied contract with their customers. Must have finished negotiating other more important deals and found time to handle this one for us little people.
Google and Facebook are under congressional fire, ATT next up? Hope so.
To all the ATT apologists, nice try but 0/10 for honesty. Spare me the "contract" disclaimers and try good faith and corporate character for once.

I have been blocked from a major network for almost a month supposedly over money. I have had enough of this. DirectV and Tegna need to resolve this issue immediately or refund my money. How can we stop this new w?

Read the fine print again, @cfrost7777 .
Nowhere in that contract are channels guaranteed.
If you think your channel is guaranteed, I suggest contacting a lawyer and suing them for breach of contract. Let us know how your (Edited per community guidelines) goes.
I'll be bowing out of your class-action.

I expect to be compensated for the many weeks that Direct TV did not broadcast CBS.
If not I will drop ATT and go to Youtube TV for a better price.
