Is the Gemini remote supposed to work the genie receiver as well?

Concerning a new install, I understand there is a 24 hour window for canceling. Is there any kind of charge for the install and then... uninstall if one is not satisfied?

I have the protection plan. My receiver went out. They came to replace it. I asked if this would extend my service commitment and he said no it is covered under warranty. I have 2 Directv accounts. 1 is at my primary address and the other is at my vacation home. Can I use one of my boxes for a 5 day camping trip? There is no internet connection so I can't stream using the Directv app.

Parental control only options is for tv show content no options for block acccess for app. They put a browser app on a woundetful tv plate form with no controls. Not great for houses with determined teenagers. No one up block website or block the whole app.
