I have a sl5 lnb feeding a swm8 and run around to the tv's. I lost my odd 103 transponders. Can I read the dish with my AIM meter to determine whether the SWM or the LNB is bad?

We currently have 12 direct tv boxes. I was looking to make one of our ipads direct tv app show only 4 of these direct tv boxes. Also is it possible to rename a box? If so how? Any help is greatly appreciated and my apologies if these questions were already asked. Thank you in advance, Brian

I have three receivers. I'm feeding all of them internet via a deca adapter. I have noticed an Ethernet connector on the receivers. Is is possible to feed Internet the receiver it gets via the coax to a WiFi access point or switch so other devices nearby can use it's Internet connection?
