One station only, .when it happens, I can switch to a different channel and it works, switch back and it's still black screen. Outage last

When I’m finished watching a recording and delete it, it still shows in my library. When I try to completely delete it, it locks up my control while it spinning trying to delete it. I have to turn off the tv for 15 minutes before I get back to regular programming. Why does this happen?
