Watching on Satellite

Does DirectTV permit recordings to be casted ? Whenever I try a message appears stating that casting recordings is either not supported or coming soon. Well several years have passed and soon has come and gone.

Why can’t I delete my recorded show at the end of the show? Previously, once the recorded program is at the end, the delete function popped up. Now I have to hit the back button and delete from that screen. Is this suppose to be a new function?

I had a couple of HR24 receivers. One suffered a BSOD and was replaced by an HR54R1/500 receiver.
