Watching on Satellite

Some of the programs preset for recording don't fully record. Sometimes only get about 5 minutes of the recording before it stops. What is going on? Not exactly technologically prepared for this sort of problem.

When selecting a TV show or series, and choose INFO on the remote, it just aired date, with no year! The INFO never lists the year. First Aired - Jan. 24, or Dec.6 , but with NO YEAR!
